For our 5 year anniversary, we decided to take a trip out to the east coast for a taste of Boston + Maine.  When we travel, we love staying in cities first and then ending our time in a relaxed atmosphere.  It rained just about the entire time we were in Boston but that didn't stop us from grabbing umbrellas & walking the Freedom Trail, exploring the Boston Commons, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's abode, and the Massachusetts State House.  Tulips were blooming and spring was crisp in the air...  we loved Boston!  Best dang crab cakes and clam chowda' ever!

After spending one full day exploring the bustling city, we were super excited to make the scenic drive up the coast.  We found an adorable Bed & Breakfast called Stone's Throw which was in a sleepy little village called York, Maine.  It was soooo chill 'cuz it was right on the ocean- having our window open and listening to the waves crash at night was incredibly romantic.   And we slept like babies as it lulled us to sleep every night- priceless.  We explored the Nubble Lighthouse and Perkins Cove, strolled the Marginal Way, hiked Blueberry Bluff, stuck our toes in the ocean, and filled our bellies with the best seafood we've ever had.  Maine lobster is like nothing else in the world!  It's so dang good and we had it every way... from full tails to lobster rolls, in lobster chowder and decadent pasta.  I'm seriously drooling thinking about it, nom nom nom.
